Finished my diploma. I survived!

15 January 2019, the last day of being diploma student. I can't believe that day would finally come. I remember I kept saying I want to give up but I keep holding on and Alhamdulillah, I really survived. Why I sound like diploma is that hard and tough? Well, after making through of it it's not that bad. I just love being dramatic hehe. I was a food technology student. To be honest, I regretted my choice for choosing diploma instead of went to matriculation. It's because I don't do many research on my course before accepting the offer. At that time, I just want to escape from matriculation. I thought Food Technology is the same as Dietitian Course. Friendly reminder, do research before accepting the offer. Pray to God if it's the best or else you gonna end up like me.

But Hey, Diploma is not that bad. Kind of relaxing but still got pressure when Week 8 and above is coming. My result for Semester 2 and Semester 3 was not satisfying maybe because Semester 1 I got Dean List so I felt comfortable enough. Stay Uncomfortable peeps! Going through Semester 4, I became serious and get my head straight. To be honest, Semester 4 and Final Semester were my favourite because I did so well and very proud of myself. My Final Year Project was recognized as the best among the best. I thanked God for giving me the best team  I could ever asked. I still remember the struggle, meeting every night, had to spend my precious weekend finishing the FYP and BP, became broke and many more. I really enjoy the whole process because the end of our blood, sweat and tears was worth it.

What is food technology? We did learn basic nutrition but this course basically more to food industry. If you are curious on how the production of noodles, sausages and many more this course is exactly suits you. I find Food Engineering was the tough subject for me but Alhamdulillah i managed to get satisfying result. This course has more chemistry and physics in it. The reason why I'm not into this course because I love biology more. There's statistics subject ugh I hate numbers.....Whatever, I survived after all. All the lecturers have been so good to us especially Food Lecturers.

What makes me survived? How I can keep holding on? The main reason is God. I believe God knows the best so I kept telling myself let it flow and let God. Alhamdulillah. Next, My parents. I'm the eldest child so I have to be the role model for my other siblings. My parents, they send me and fetch me every time I want to go home. I never took a bus. Thank you Abah and Umi. I love both of you will all my heart. Finally, my friends or to be exact my housemates. Without them, I will be 24/7 homesick I guess. I always thank God for meeting me to those people. Intan, Afiqah, Husna, Tasha and Izzati. Thank you for being good sisters to me. I really appreciate you guys. During my final year, I met other bunch of good people. I always had a problem whenever I have to work in groups. But this time, the term "TEAMWORK" did applied in our team. We won the First Place in Food Product Development Contest, Top 5 Best Packaging Video and was praised during Pitching For Business Plan. Thank you, I'zzati, Wani, Bella, Diah and Zara.

There's a lot of bittersweet memories during diploma and I cherish every single of them. I joined Dance Club for the first time and did performed during AGM. I hate dancing before and I couldn't believe I could dance even though I'm an amateur, I tried. What an achievement! I had 3 crushes during my diploma days LOL but it just for fun. I never approach them too. I joined Teater Hadis when I was in Semester 2. (P/S: my passion towards acting is still there). Hang out with my housemates was the best. I missed them so much. Those were some of the memories. I couldn't share all because it's gonna be a novel rather than a blog.

Advices to young people (Cey, I'm young too because I'm still 21), If you ever feel like giving up, think about it deeply and many times. Think the after effect. Are you really not going to regret it? Are you going to be happy? I heard other said God doesn't like people who give up. Have Faith. Keep Holding on even the journey was super hard but it's gonna be worth it. You really can face it! Surrounds yourself with good vibes. You are in charge of doing that! Studying is hard but remember your Niat, Study for God and Yourself not because of anyone else. That's all i think. Thank you for reading :)

14 + 14 = 1 month of being quarantine in my rent house

If you’re Malaysian you will understand the chaos that happened in March 2020 which continues till April 2020. Well, the chaos that I meant was Covid-19. It was a disaster to me. Why? This virus is harmful and it can cause death if you take it lightly. Because the case had risen to 2000 cases, our PM decided to order us to restrict our movement. This thing called Restricted Movement Order (RMO). Everyone cannot go out freely without any important purposes. Fuh, suddenly I am so grateful because we can set our foot freely out of our home before this without worrying much (yeah still have worries about safety) and go shopping, visiting our relatives and many more outdoor activities we can do because the freedom that we got from being an independence country. Did I sound so patriotic? No actually I wanted to say Alhamdulillah. So I was stuck here in my rent house with another 4 people. My father can’t take me home because he went to outstation and I was very anxious to ride on public tr...

I reached my 2020 reading goal!

Wow, I almost missed updating for this month. Phew, Every week is a hectic week . I had my mid sem break in the middle of November and thought of updating during that time. However, I decided to spend the whole week for that particular assignment. I just hope that the marking went smooth huhu honestly I had no particular target for this semester. I only prayed that I survived. November probably be the busiest month ever because I only managed to read two books in this month. But I can also tell that December gonna be tough also haih. Please, this semester should pass really quick. Okay, enough rambling about my study update. I want to announce hahahaha proudly. I managed to complete the 2020 reading challenge !!! Tbh, I started the challenge in July and targeting 10 books to finish in a year probably sounds tough to me since I just got back into reading. My reading pace is very very slow because I prefer to take my times instead of being rush to finish a book. Luckily, I recalled...
